Betsy came into our care in June 2025. Although initially she looked in good order, underneath she was in need of some urgent loving care after spending over 30 years in an open barn in Scotland, and her last 18 months open to the elements on the Fylde coast.
David fell in love with Betsy’s sweeping contours and classic looks and had a vision of turning Betsy into a working, hireable hearse for everyone from classic vehicle enthusiasts, transport lovers or anyone looking for something just a little different and special for their final journey.
Kris Cooke and Tommy Clough from Kelbrook Classics saw Betsy’s beauty from beneath her neglected condition and with dedication and loving care, stripped away the years of neglect and with skilful hands over many weeks brought Betsy back from the brink and breathed new life into her.
